"The main objective of any society should be to improve livelihood!"

What is a successful society?
As we all know, our Tharu tribe is a little backward compared to other tribes. One reason for this is that other tribes unite in any critical situation, but in our tribe we do not care much about anyone.

The most important key to the upliftment of the tribe is to stay united through every difficult situation. However, community means a sense of belonging among a group of people, with all Tharus playing a vital role in the success of a functioning society.

According to the modern perspective, understanding social success as a balanced life is a sign of an overall successful society—which is shaped by the success of today's youth.

Adolescents should focus their attention on aspects that lead to a more satisfying and successful life, emphasizing work and family, especially by getting involved in different community activities.

Addiction trend among youth!
In today's time, lack of employment opportunities diverts the attention of the youth and leads them towards drugs and addictive substances.
Today's youth is getting ruined day by day by addiction. The most commonly used drugs by the youth are alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, etc.

Recently heard that most of the youth have started vaping tobacco and marijuana. We still do not know much about the dangers of vaping, but the youth should stay away from all these things for their better future.

They also need to understand their responsibilities towards their family and society.
Drug addiction often has a serious social impact on the community. It can lead to financial hardship and reckless behaviour, putting families at risk.

Keeping all these things in mind, in order to save the youth from drug addiction “Rana Tharu” community organizes some wisdom meetings and talks with teenagers so that they stay away from intoxicants and caffeinated drinks.

Although I performed well in a very volatile environment, these lessons could have saved me from failures. We are currently in a very challenging and hostile environment.

Unfortunately, today's youth cannot afford to make better decisions for their future and lifestyle but the adults in our Rana Tharu community work for them.

We just need to understand their hard work and that it is a financial responsibility on teenagers, which must be repaid by being successful.

"Life is 10 percent what happens to us,
And it's 90 percent how we react to it!"
